Jacqueline...Thanks so much for sharing your story. That song came out of one of the toughest times in my life. Even if no one else ever heard that song, I would sing it over and over and enjoy the strength I get from my recommitment of trust. But knowing that it was encouraging to you is icing on the cake. 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

I found your blog this morning by clicking a link left by a friend of a friend on that friend's FaceBook page in reference to a far-side cartoon. Just goes to show that God can use any avenue to guide us to where He can speak to us. I was struck by the title of your blog and seeing the scripture reference I was curious to see what else was here, as I began perusing I came upon this post, and I just wanted to say that this song/prayer touched me in so many ways. It reminded me of God's past faithfulness, those first days of passion of falling in love with the Lord, when it seemed that nothing could ever move me from the ecstasy of just being with Him, when my heart swelled day and night just to praise Him and the music never ceased in my spirit.

I'm still passionately in love with Him and that praise still swells up, but so often in the past two years and more recently in the past two months, it has been mixed with a struggle against fear and unbelief, moments of hopelessness, yet He is always there. He never lets me go and I'm learning to trust once again, even as in those first days and more so even that He will not leave me or forsake me and that my Yeshua can be trusted, that my Lord is good and all His ways are right, that He is right. This song reminded me of that this morning and it was a blessing to hear a brother in Christ praise God and for God to use that to choose to speak to my heart.

Esmeralda...it's been good to read your comments. I'm so glad you're reading these blogs, but more glad to hear that you're reading God's Word. God has been blessing me as I've re-studied Psalm 119 over the past few months. I think it's a masterpiece and I'm so happy to share it with you. God bless. All my trials I gone through I know I could have not made it with out my Lord and His word.
